      Join us on 28th September for a rare chance to see the derelict upper floor of Ashton Court Mansion. Entry to the People's Mansion is free but donations are welcome. Suggested minimum donation of £3 for those participating in the doors. Is the tour accessible?Unfortunately the upstairs is not accessible to wheelchair users and we recommended anyone with difficulties walking around be accompanied by a carer. Hard hats must be worn upstairs. The tour is not suitable for young children. The ground floor of the mansion is accessible to wheelchair, buggy users and well behaved dogs on leads. How many can you fit on the tour?Tour groups are limited to six max.  What else is happening?  Free Entry to the ground floor exhibition showing the history of the house and vision from the future from six Bristol primary schools and artist Amy Hutchings, Show of Strength Theatre, Cream teas available at the Courtyard Café,  Games on the South Lawn. Our free daytime activities will conclude with a performance from Opera Sulis in the Music Room. The People's Mansion Ball is a ticketed event with performances from The Paper Moon Band from 9-11pm, Ms Chameleon's Mechanical Melodies – The Gramaphone DJ 11pm-12am and  DJ Baroness Jo Jo 12am-1am + more (tickets on sale from Headfirst Bristol).   The People’s Mansion programme is possible thanks to funding from Historic England, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England, Artspace Lifespace and rates relief from North Somerset Council.
