      Fundraising Strategy Masterclass

As a fundraiser you’ll be all too aware of the increasingly challenging environment in which we have to operate. This means that when making decisions on how to invest limited resources in fundraising, charities need to be even more strategic. A robust fundraising strategy is critical to achieving this. Following an online survey of charities based in the south west, the good news is many are taking important steps such as looking at past performance and keeping abreast of sector trends. But sadly, the survey also revealed a real shortage of time, capacity and confidence, preventing many fundraisers from seeing the bigger picture. This hands-on masterclass has been tailored to help you prioritise and be confident to make bold decisions to grow your income. Don’t miss out on one of the limited places available. We are keeping the number of participants low to enable you and your fellow participants to form a supportive group, and everyone taking part will be invited to continue to work together as part of our peer-learning programme. What you can expect on the day You will learn about the latest trends in the key fundraising disciplines such as individual giving, corporate fundraising, legacy giving, major donor fundraising, community fundraising, and trusts and foundations. We will share a framework of steps to help you be more strategic with your fundraising programme. You will work in a supportive environment with peers, and be comfortable to share personal challenges and learn from each other. You will start to build a fundraising strategy, or revitalise an existing one. Level: this course is designed for Trustees, CEOs and senior fundraising staff who are accountable for driving business development and fundraising strategy. It is anticipated that there will be a basic understanding of fundraising and budgeting. Confidential sharing: we encourage attendees to share examples of their work: what's gone well for them, and what hasn't. Please come prepared to discuss and share data and stories in confidence. Accessibility: we want to make sure all of our workshops meet your needs, so if you have any questions about accessibility please email: Booking & waitlist: places are limited to eight. If all the places have all been filled, please add your details to the waitlist and Eventbrite will notify you when a place becomes available. Refunds for cancellations after this point will be at our discretion. If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible.
