      Flavours of Autumn

This nature day retreat is based around autumnal foraged foods and flavours. The day starts with a foraging nature walk to gather blackberries, elderberries and other wild foods, then after coffee and homemade seasonal cake, there will be a 2-hour preserving and pickling workshop with Hannah from Herbs & Wild. She will demonstrate a seasonal jam recipe, cordial and autumn veg pickles and you will have a chance to make your own elderberry infused liqueur to take home with you, along with a booklet of great preserve and pickle recipes. After a seasonal, wild food inspired lunch made by Hannah, the afternoon will be spent learning how to carve your own jam and chutney spoons from wood with the lovely James from Jem Woodcraft in Clevedon. You will get to take home a beautiful handmade spoon to serve your homemade jams and chutneys with or to give as a gift. Maximum of 10 places per workshop.
