      Engaging and working directly with children and young people A practical and interactive training session delivered by NCB and two trainers with lived experience of accessing services for children and young people. The training is for members of the Information Advice and Support Service Network. Learning Outcomes: By the end of the workshop participants will have: Learnt skills and techniques in engaging with and directly working with children and young people Created an action plan on how those working directly with children and young people would best like to stay in touch going forward Learnt and developed the skills to meet the minimum standards with regards to direct work with children and young people and understand children and young people’s rights in this area  Who can attend? This training is open to IASS staff and volunteers only. We would particularly welcome those whose role is working directly with children and/or young people or those recruiting and planning for working with children and/or young people. Evaluation All delegates are required to complete the evaluation form before leaving the event.
