      ARThub17 Mood and Atmosphere, Drawing at the Allotments 3 with Max Naylor

      Max is a Bristol based Artist whose practice focuses on drawing and painting influenced by place, memory and imagination. Max’s contemporary drawing practice is underpinned by a degree in fine art at the University of Brighton and two years studying and being part of the education programme at the Royal Drawing School in London. In his drawing he often shows complex landscape imagery collected from his daily  experience, his travels, dreams and memories. He also allows his imagination to feature. Max has exhibited widely in the Uk and has won awards for his work most recently being the winner of the Jackson art prize in 2016 . He has completed several international residencies, and is an experienced workshop leader. Responding to the weather conditions students will make an image that conveys an emotional response to the environment.
